The Carmel Symphony Orchestra is the proud Resident Orchestra of the Palladium at The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana. With a roster of over 80 talented musicians, the CSO represents the excellence and professional musical artistry in the Midwest.
Our Origins
History
Founded in 1976, CSO has grown from a community orchestra into a fully professional ensemble, deeply rooted in the freelance music community of the Midwest. Our journey over the decades mirrors our commitment to musical excellence and community involvement.

At CSO, we are dedicated to presenting the world’s most revered historic and modern symphonic masterpieces. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Hamilton County and its surrounding areas through artistically excellent performances and enriching educational experiences.
