The Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO) is thrilled to announce the upcoming performance of the high-energy tribute band Super Diamond at the Palladium on Sunday, September 29th at 7 p.m. This unique concert experience combines the sophistication of the CSO with the timeless hits of Neil Diamond. Prepare to be captivated by Super Diamond’s expertly crafted renditions of hits like Sweet Caroline, I Am…I Said, and Forever in Blue Jeans.

 During these performances, Super Diamond showcases Neil Diamond’s extensive repertoire with the accompaniment of a full orchestra.For this performance CSO Guest Conductor Rama Kolesnikow, a founding member of Super Diamond, will take that role with our symphony. 

Established in 1993, Super Diamond boasts a talented line-up including vocalist Randy Cordeiro (also known as Surreal Neil), guitarist Chris Collins, keyboardist James Terris and drummer Vince Littleton. This renowned tribute band has garnered attention from various national publications and even made a memorable appearance on the David Letterman Show. The band has been praised for their authentic and enthusiastic performances of Neil Diamond’s music and notably their dedication and skill. 

The renowned band has sold out shows across the United States, performing at prestigious venues such as Irving Plaza in New York, Bimbo’s in San Francisco, and House of Blues in Chicago to name a few. Their performances have garnered widespread acclaim, with even Neil Diamond himself making special appearances to sing his own songs alongside the band.

 Pre-concert Entertainment:

The CSO String Quartet will delight guests in the lobby starting at 6 p.m., followed by a champagne toast at 6:30 p.m. to commence the sparkling evening with Super Diamond.

Get Ready To Dance: Carmel Symphony Orchestra Brings Motown & Disco to Coxhall Gardens

Experience the fusion of the Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO) with the iconic sounds of Motown and Disco, August 23rd at Coxhall Gardens at 8:30 pm. The CSO will be under the direction of conductor Mélisse Brunet, and joined by vocalists Gavin Hope, Tracey Gallant, Andrea Koziol, and Stephanie Martin of the Motown & DIsco group, Jeans ‘n Classics. Wear your best Disco outfits and join the fun!

A star performer in the arts and entertainment scene, Gavin Hope’s close-knit company of top players and vocalists  has been captivating audiences for nearly three decades with their impressive symphonic rock performances. This team of artists tours year-round, joining symphonies across the country as special guests, showcasing their exceptional talent and close-knit camaraderie.

“This event marks the final concert of the Summer Series, and we are excited to introduce a funky and upbeat theme to get the crowd on their feet,” said Anne Marie Chastain, Executive Director of the CSO. “We wanted to create a complete experience where we feature a popular genre of music that also had an iconic fashion style associated with it.”

Additionally, experience the nostalgia of a bygone era as Artomobilia joins the event to showcase classic cars that embody the golden age of Motown from 1959 to 1972, such as Cadillac Eldorado, Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III or a Ford Thunderbird. Immerse yourself in the beauty and history of these iconic cars as you enjoy a performance by the CSO. Don’t miss the opportunity to see these stunning vehicles and more at this year’s Artomobilia on September 7th in the Arts & Design District, starting at 11:00 am.

After working up an appetite and thirst from all the dancing, treat yourself to delectable food and drinks with our VIP experience, or visit one of the food trucks on site, including Kona Ice, Samonas, Polish Cottage “Polska Chata,” Joella’s Hot Chicken and Sugar Creek Winery.

We offer a variety of seating options to accommodate every budget. Lawn seating and discounted pricing for youth are available for those looking for a more affordable  experience. For those seeking a more luxurious experience, VIP seating provides the best view of the concert, access to the air-conditioned Coxhall Mansion, two drink tickets for beer and wine and exclusive entry to the CSO’s VIP Patron Bar.  VIP tickets also grant access to the orchestra’s afterparty event in the Mansion, and a chance to mingle with the musicians of the CSO, as well as our guest artists.
