The Carmel Symphony Orchestra is seeking an exceptional, experienced, violinist, who as Concertmaster, will hold the primary position of leadership within the orchestra.

Location: St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 1402 W Main St, Carmel IN 46032
Rate: $210/service, approximately 32 services (based on 26-27 season)
Application Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11:59pm

Applicants may be asked for pre-screening recording/video links during resume screening. Invitations will be sent out following the application deadline. Checks will be returned to invited candidates at the audition. If you are not invited, waitlisted, or you withdraw before September 12, 2026, your check will be held until after the audition date and then shredded in our office. If you are invited before and cancel after September 12, 2026, your check will be cashed.
By sending in an application, you agree to be available for 75% or more of the season dates and eligible per the job description below. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
